Ticket Terms and Conditions - Illuminate Light & Sound Experience

Introduction
Ticket Terms and Conditions: These Ticket Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the terms on which Inflatablez Limited (trading as Event Hire) (“we”, “us”, or “our”) sells tickets to Illuminate Light & Sound Experience.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not limit any of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
Ticket Dates: The date that is shown on your ticket is the only day it will be valid for. Please do not come on a different day, as you will be turned away.
Weather Dependency: This event is weather dependent and may be affected by adverse conditions such as rain, storms, or other environmental factors.
Weather Policy: A final decision to proceed, postpone, or cancel the event will be made at 12pm on the day of the event, based on weather forecasts and safety assessments. Ticket holders will be notified via email, social media (including Facebook and Instagram), and/or other official communication channels.
If the event is postponed, tickets may be transferred to an alternative date, subject to availability. Transferred tickets will be valid for the new date and are not refundable, unless required by law.
If existing dates are at capacity, additional dates may be scheduled (including weekdays or weekends, depending on venue requirements).
If you are unable to attend the new date, you may request a refund (excluding transaction fees). Refund requests must be submitted via email at least 12 hours before the start time of the rescheduled event.
The event organisers are not liable for any consequential loss, inconvenience, or travel expenses arising from postponement or cancellation.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds if you are unable to attend your selected date. If you can no longer attend, you must follow the transfer procedure outlined below.
Refunds are not provided for changes in personal circumstances (including illness or injury), except where required by New Zealand law.
Booking fees and transaction surcharges are non-refundable. No refund or transfer requests will be accepted after the start time of the event on your original ticket date.
Transfer Policy: We are unable to directly change tickets. If you wish to attend a different date, you must purchase new tickets for your preferred session. Once this is completed, you may request a refund of your original booking (excluding transaction fees).
Transfer Procedure: To request a transfer, you must purchase replacement tickets and submit a request via email at least 12 hours before the start time of your original event. Please include both your original order confirmation number and your new order number in your email to info@illuminateshow.co.nz - Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe once approved.
Ticket Validity: Tickets are valid only for the specified event date and time indicated on the ticket. Any unauthorised duplication or resale of tickets is strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund.
Event Modifications: The event organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, program, or location as deemed necessary. Attendees will be notified of any modifications via email or other designated communication channels.
Liability Waiver: Attendees participate in the event at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the event organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from attendance at the event. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
Age Restrictions: Certain events may have age restrictions or guidelines. Please refer to event-specific information for details regarding age suitability and admission requirements.
Compliance with Rules: Attendees are expected to comply with all event rules, regulations, and instructions provided by event staff and security personnel. All events are strictly smoke and vape free.
Reservation of Rights: The event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any attendee who violates event policies, engages in disruptive behaviour, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
Searches: As a condition of entry, attendees may be required to undergo a search of their person and/or belongings, including bags, using reasonable methods such as visual inspection, pat-downs, or metal detection. These searches may occur at entry or at any time during the event. If an attendee refuses to comply with a search request, the event organisers reserve the right to deny entry or remove the attendee from the event without refund.
Variation to Terms and Conditions: We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time, by posting an updated version on our website. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms and Conditions have been updated.
Privacy: When you purchase a ticket for an event or communicate with us, we collect your personal information. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with our privacy policy, which you can locate here.
Photography & Media
By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. You agree that these images or recordings may be used by the event organisers for promotional and marketing purposes (including on websites, social media, press, and future event promotions) without payment or further approval, unless otherwise required by law. Parents and guardians acknowledge and agree that this consent applies to minors in their care.
