Ticket Terms and Conditions - Illuminate Light & Sound Experience

Introduction
Ticket Terms and Conditions: These Ticket Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the terms on which Inflatablez Limited (trading as Event Hire) (“we”, “us”, or “our”) sells tickets to Illuminate Light & Sound Experience.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not limit any of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
Ticket Dates: The date that is shown on your ticket is the only day it will be valid for. Please do not come on a different day, as you will be turned away.
Weather Dependency: A final decision to proceed, postpone, or cancel the event will be made at approximately 12pm on the day of the event, based on weather forecasts, venue conditions and safety assessments. Ticket holders will be notified through official communication channels, which may include email, Facebook and Instagram.
If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for, or be transferred to, an alternative event date nominated by the organiser. Where necessary, additional dates may be scheduled, including weekdays or weekends, subject to venue availability and operational requirements.
Where an alternative event date is provided, tickets are not ordinarily refundable solely because a ticket holder is unable to attend the alternative date.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.
If the event is cancelled and no alternative event date is provided, ticket holders will be advised of the applicable options.
The organiser is not responsible for consequential loss, inconvenience, accommodation costs, travel expenses or other indirect costs arising from a postponement or cancellation, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds if you are unable to attend your selected date. Refunds are not provided for changes in personal circumstances, including illness or injury, except where required by New Zealand law. Booking fees and transaction surcharges are non-refundable.
No refund or exchange requests will be accepted after the start time of the event on your original ticket date, regardless of whether the tickets have been used.
Ticket Exchanges: Tickets cannot be transferred directly between Illuminate sessions.
If you wish to attend another available session, you must purchase new tickets before the start time of your original booking. Once you have repurchased tickets for your preferred session, email info@illuminateshow.co.nz with your original and replacement order numbers.
Illuminate will then refund the original ticket price, less any booking or transaction fees.
Tickets have no remaining value once the original booked session has started.
Where Illuminate cancels or postpones a session, the applicable cancellation or postponement terms will apply.
Event Modifications: The event organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, program, or location as deemed necessary. Attendees will be notified of any modifications via email or other designated communication channels.
Liability Waiver: Attendees participate in the event at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the event organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from attendance at the event. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
Age Restrictions: Certain events may have age restrictions or guidelines. Please refer to event-specific information for details regarding age suitability and admission requirements.
Compliance with Rules: Attendees are expected to comply with all event rules, regulations, and instructions provided by event staff and security personnel. All events are strictly smoke and vape free.
Reservation of Rights: The event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any attendee who violates event policies, engages in disruptive behaviour, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
Searches: As a condition of entry, attendees may be required to undergo a search of their person and/or belongings, including bags, using reasonable methods such as visual inspection, pat-downs, or metal detection. These searches may occur at entry or at any time during the event. If an attendee refuses to comply with a search request, the event organisers reserve the right to deny entry or remove the attendee from the event without refund.
Variation to Terms and Conditions: We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time, by posting an updated version on our website. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms and Conditions have been updated.
Privacy: When you purchase a ticket for an event or communicate with us, we collect your personal information. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with our privacy policy, which you can locate here.
Photography & Media
By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. You agree that these images or recordings may be used by the event organisers for promotional and marketing purposes (including on websites, social media, press, and future event promotions) without payment or further approval, unless otherwise required by law. Parents and guardians acknowledge and agree that this consent applies to minors in their care.
